How To Add Volume While Air-Drying Hair | Bounce Curl Tutorial

a Traditional Millennial Bounce Curl

Loving this tutorial from Bounce Curl on “How to get volume with air-drying curly hair”

Will you take the 1 month no dry challenge ? Here’s how to get the look:

Step 1: Take ~two quarters worth of Bounce Curl Avocado & Rose Oil Clump and Define Cream and ‘rake’ into hair using fingers on each side

Tip: Do not apply the product too close to your roots or it will weigh them down

Step 2 (optional): For a stronger hold, use ~2 quarters worth of the Bounce Curl’s Light Crème Gel and rake through hair – more in roots and a little less on the bottom

Step 3: Flip your head and clump curls together using the praying hands technique. Clump from roots down

Tip: Make sure your hair is super wet, not just damp. If curls aren’t clumping properly, add more water

Step 4: While hair is flipped over, begin using the ‘scrunch’ method. Flip hair and continue to scrunch on the right and left sides as well

Step 5: Flip hair upside down and spritz Bounce Curl Alcohol-Free Hair Spray 2-3x on the backside of hair. Flip hair back over and spray right and left sides 1-2x

Step 6: Clip hair in the center, right and left sides of hair while hair is flipped upside down to reduce frizz

Step 7: Turn on your favorite Netflix show and wait for your curls to dry!

Step 8: Remove clips, flip hair and fluff using your fingers or a hair pick
